ISSA is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization providing a forum for education, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skills, and professional growth of its members. A goal of the ISSA is to promote the best practices that will ensure availability, integrity, and confidentiality of organizational resources. The purpose of the SF Bay Area ISSA chapter is to have a local venue for interacting with your colleagues in the security profession.

The SF Bay Area ISSA chapter has approximately 180 members. Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month (except June, July and August) and we sponsor other activities like the annual CISSP study group. As a volunteer organization, the success of the SF Bay Area ISSA chapter is a by-product of input from members. We encourage everyone to participate, whether a Board member (elected bi-annually), event coordinator, CISSP domain coach, or by presenting at or simply attending monthly meetings. The chapter always welcomes and encourages fresh ideas and member participation.
Join the SF Bay ISSA members, guests, and board for a "Relaxed" chapter meeting. There will be no sponsors, no presentations, no slides, no rules! (Well, a few rules) We will throw some topics out to the group, even a survey or two. Feel free to join in the conversation or just listen in. The meeting will be from 4:00PM PST to 6:00PM. We will be using Zoom as our virtual hosting provider.
